What to Watch Next is a text-based film interactive recommender system in Java. It allows users to find exactly what they are looking for utilizing its customized search box, personalized recommendation, or shared lists of other users’ favorite films, and to easily and fairly rate and review any film on the database. In this manner, giving films authentic rates and reviews and providing users with a platform to engage with other users enable them to explore and enjoy hidden gems and underrated films, what is more, it can be the motivational ladder to choosing a film to watch that takes you on a new journey.
