Applying to few jobs might not be difficult but tracking 20 job applications is not easy. Job applicants use different platforms like LinkedIn, handshake, and indeed to apply to jobs. Manually tracking all the applications on each platform is a time-consuming task. Depending on the job applications, the applicant might also use different resumes. Each job has different requirements, and the applicant might have to adjust their resume for that specific job. TrackApp, a java-based application, will help the applicants track their application by allowing them to enter, update, delete, and search their applications. TrackApp uses derby database system to store the data in the user’s computer. Through the application, the users can retrieve information for their past applications and their results so that they can make better decisions on their present job application process.
