ID OneCard

The ID OneCard identifies you as a member of the DePauw community.


Office Hours

During our normal office hours, several members of the IT staff are monitoring the phone and email hourly. Outside of our normal office hours, we will review your request or issue and respond appropriately. Please contact us at IDCard@depauw.edu or 765-658-4253.


 OneCard is a system that enables you to use your DePauw ID card for a host of campus services, including:

DePauw ID card example

Your DePauw ID card is just as important as your driver's license, keys, or debit card. It has a chip, magnetic strip, and antennae embedded in it, so do not bend, crack, punch holes, add stickers, mark on, or alter it in any way. 

Fees

First card

DePauw students receive their first DePauw ID card at no charge, and will keep it as long as they continue to be a student at DePauw. 

Replacement cards

To request a replacement ID card, complete the DePauw ID Card Replacement Request form. After we process your request, you will receive an email confirmation that includes information on picking it up.

Students

Students are charged $25 for replacement ID cards. This fee is applied to his/her tuition account. Please note that once a replacement ID card is created, all previously issued cards are permanently deactivated.

Faculty and staff

Faculty and staff members should contact the HelpDesk at (765) 658-4294 or HelpDesk@depauw.edu for information on receiving a replacement card. 

Photo Requirements

Your DePauw ID card is considered a legal form of identification. Therefore, please refer to the U.S. Passports & International Travel Passport Photo Requirements website for details. Requirements include:

  • Color photo taken within the last six (6) months
  • Plain white background only
  • Full-face view with you directly facing the camera
  • Photo must be from your shoulders up

Submitting your Photo

The photo you submit must be in JPEG (.jpg) format and no larger than 1 MB with a default viewable size of 225 X 150.

Students

We recommend you upload your photo before August 15th so you can pick up your DePauw ID card at your check-in location when you arrive on campus. Learn how at DePauw ID Card: Uploading a photo.

New faculty and staff

We recommend you email your passport-style photo to IDCard@depauw.edu.
