Kori Stoffregen is Again SCAC Cross Country 'Coach of the Year;' 2 DePauw Runners are All-Americans

stoffregen.jpgJanuary 24, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - "DePauw University's Kori Stoffregen has been selected Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Coach of the Year for both men's and women's cross country for the 2005 season in exclusive voting by the head coaches in the conference," notes an announcement from the SCAC. "For Stoffregen, it is his sixth consecutive men's cross country Coach of the Year honor. He was also recognized as the women's Coach of the Year in 2000, 2003 and was co-COTY last season."

The announcement adds, "Leslie Dillon and Chad Bennett both earned all-American honors at the National Championships. Dillon is DePauw's first women's cross country all-American." DePauw's men have won six consecutive SCAC cross country titles, while the women have won three straight.
