Kristin Kelley '05 Joins Ice Miller

Kristin A. Kelley, a 2005 graduate of DePauw University, has joined Ice Miller LLP as of counsel in the firm's immigration practice. She will focus her practice on employment-based immigration, counseling clients on obtaining approval for all types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas.

"Kristin has extensive experience preparing and reviewing business immigration filings, responding to requests for further evidence at all government levels, and researching and analyzing immigration statutes," notes Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. "She will be a great asset to the clients in our Immigration Practice."

326A0471Prior to her legal career, Kelley worked extensively in the field of health care and policy research, solving high level strategic problems for key health care clients.

A cum laude graduate of DePauw, Kelley majored in sociology and anthropology and minored in Spanish. She earned a juris doctor with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, serving as a staff member on the North Carolina Law Review and working as a research assistant in the health law department. Kelley also served as a Certified Student Practitioner with the University of North Carolina’s Immigration and Human Rights Policy Clinic.
