Prof. Mitch Merback is Awarded Arthur Kingsley Porter Prize

Merback, associate professor of art at DePauw University, is the recipient of the Arthur Kingsley Porter Prize from the College Art Association (CAA). Dr. Merback is being honored for his article, "Fount of Mercy, City of Blood: Cultic Anti-Judaism and the Pulkau Altarpiece," which appeared in the Winter 2005 issue of the Art Bulletin.

The Arthur Kingsley Porter Prize is awarded to an outstanding article published in the Art Bulletin by a scholar who is under the age of 35 or within 10 years of receiving the doctorate at the time the article was accepted for publication. Established in 1957, it honors the memory of a founding member of the CAA and one of the first American scholars of the discipline.DePauw Logo White.jpg
