Vault CEO Erik Sorenson '77 Discusses Job Market with Houston Chronicle

Erik Sorenson HSa.jpgFebruary 12, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — "New college graduates are entering one of the worst job environments in years," according to Erik Sorenson, CEO of Vault.com and a member of DePauw University's Class of 1977.  Sorenson, who oversees the career and job Web site and is former president of MSNBC, is quoted in a Houston Chronicle article examining job prospects for this year's college graduates.

"Sorenson anticipates college recruitment hiring in many industries to dip by more than 10 percent this year compared to 2008, although he sees hiring in sectors such as energy, education and government increasing," writes L.M. Sixel.
