Bud Walters '69 Elected to National Association of Broadcasters Board

April 13, 1985, Greencastle, Ind. - Bayard H. "Bud" Walters, president and owner of the Cromwell Group and 1963 graduate of DePauw University, is among 19 broadcasters from around the United States elected to serve on the board of director of the National Association of Broadcasters.  Walters begins his two-year term in June.

The Cromwell Group operates three radio stations: WFMI-FM (Lexington, Kentucky),  WWKY-AM (Winchester, Kentucky) and WKCM-AM (Hawesville, Kentucky/Tell City, Indiana).

Active at DePauw's WGRE-FM as a student, Walters founded his company in 1972.
