Counseling Services supports the academic success of students by enhancing their overall health and wellness through the use of comprehensive and holistic mental health, substance abuse, and sexual assault/relationship violence-related services. Operating from a social justice lens and a multicultural framework, Counseling Services strives to assist students by advocating and providing support as needed during times of crisis, facilitating problem-solving, enhancing coping strategies, facilitating campus wide outreach, training and prevention to raise mental health awareness, promoting personal development and growth, and supporting academic success through the use of short-term, culturally, and developmentally appropriate services.

Counseling Services is NOT OPEN FOR CLINICAL SERVICES during the summer. However, our administrative staff members are onsite throughout the year to answer non-clinical related matters.
* The academic year starts on the 1st day of class in the fall semester (i.e., usually a Wednesday) and ends the Monday after commencement day in May. Summer hours starts the Monday after commencement day in May and ends the Tuesday before class resume in the fall semester.

Counseling Services is housed in Hogate Hall, Suite 100. Parking Lot 12 on this map is the closest lot to our center; there are several parking spaces labeled as "DePauw Health" that you may park at, though you're welcome to park anywhere in this lot. You may also park along South Locust Street outside of Hogate Hall.
