Corporate class models are designed for more enhanced durability than consumer class models by having more standardized components with longer lifecycles that ensure consistent and easier repairs when needed. DePauw recommends the corporate class model for all students. *Laptops do not have the software bundle preloaded. Students must purchase the software/support bundle upon arrival at the University at the start of school by visiting the IT HelpDesk. The software fee includes access to repair and loaner services also available at the HelpDesk if a student purchases one of the above recommended computers.
