NPR Program to Spotlight Prof. Cleveland Johnson

October 9, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - Cleveland Johnson, professor of music at DePauw University, will be featured in an hourlong interview on the National Public Radio program Harmonia, which is nationally syndicated, later this month. The program featuring Dr. Johnson will air locally Thursday, October 21, on Indianapolis-based NPR affiliate WFYI at 8 p.m., and on Bloomington's WFIU an hour later. Listeners in other markets will need to check the schedule of their local NPR affliate, but the show should be broadcast during the week of October 18. Learn more about Harmonia by clicking here.

The program will focus on Johnson's research on the German Baroque organist/composer, Heinrich Scheidemann, and Johnson's recording project of six compact discs devoted to his music. The project was supported with funding from the John and Janice Fisher Fund for Faculty Development.
