Sue Anne Gilroy '70 Receives Philanthropy Award

16129November 20, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Sue Anne Gilroy, vice president of development and executive director of the St. Vincent Foundation and 1970 graduate of DePauw University, has been honored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Indiana Chapter with a 2010 Philanthropy Award.  Gilroy, former Indiana Secretary of State, was recognized as as "Outstanding Fundraising Professional" at Thursday's awards presentation, notes the Indianapolis Star

Other honorees included Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and his wife, Ashley, and Avery Jukes, a member of Butler's 2010 basketball team. This marks the twenty-seventh year the awards have honored individuals, civic organizations, foundations, corporations and small businesses, recognizing the important contributions they make to our communities across the state of Indiana every day.
