Prof. Yeon-Ji Yun to Perform Sunday in West Lafayette Concert

89695January 15, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — Yeon-Ji Yun, cellist and part-time assistant professor of music at DePauw University, will perform in a concert to be presented Sunday in West Lafayette, Indiana.  Yun will be joined in the program -- which is presented by the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society -- by pianist Mary Heller and violinist Allison Guest Edberg.

The Lafayette Journal & Courier notes, "Born in Korea, Yun moved to West Lafayette a few months ago and has been teaching cello at DePauw University and Indiana Wesleyan University and will receive her Ph.D. in cello performance at Indiana University this year."  The concert will include Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in C minor, Sonate pour Violon et Piano by Debussy and Haydn's Trio VIII.
