Nick Mourouzis Offers Coaches Advice at Indiana Football Hall of Fame Clinic

mourouzis-head-shot.jpgFebruary 12, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "People rarely succeed at anything unless they love what they're doing," Nick Mourouzis, retired head football coach and professor emeritus of kinesiology at DePauw University, told high school, middle school and youth league coaches at last night's third annual Indiana Football Hall of Fame Clinic said. Mourouzis, himself a member of the Hall of Fame, added, "We can have a positive impact on people."

A summary of the speech, published in today's Richmond Palladium-Item, notes, "Mourouzis knew he had to be a coach in seventh grade when a teacher asked him to coach fourth-graders in basketball. 'I saw first-hand I could make a difference (in young people's lives),' DePauw HelmetMourouzis said."
