East College No Leaves 2006.jpgNovember 15, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - James A. Marshall, a 1983 graduate of DePauw University, has joined Cantor Fitzgerald & Company's debt capital markets team in Chicago. He comes to Cantor from RBC Capital Markets, where he was a vice president in fixed income sales.

“A key driver of our business, particularly in today’s market environment, is the strength of our relationships with customers," says Scott Moore, senior managing director and Chicago-based co-head of Cantor’s mortgage-backed sales and trading group. "Jim Marshall’s twenty years experience in sales and trading in the fixed income markets is notable not only for his background in relative value analysis in structured mortgage-backed products and pass-through securities, but for his focus on understanding customers’ needs and his commitment to communicating with customers and building excellent customer relationships.”

An announcement at Yahoo! Finance notes that Marshall "also has served as a senior mortgage-backed securities trader in the institutional fixed income trading group of Dain Rauscher. He earned an economics degree from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management."
