Volleyball Team Begins SCAC Tournament Play Friday

DSC_2892.jpgNovember 1, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - At Friday's opening round of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball tournament in Sherman, Texas, "No. 4 Colorado College and No. 5 DePauw will play at 2 p.m. to determine who will advance to the first semifinal match, where they will take on either Trinity or the winner of the Millsaps vs. Oglethorpe match," reports the Herald Democrat. The newspaper notes that the SCAC "is going back to using a postseason conference tournament for the first time since 1999, and the No. 12-ranked Austin College Kangaroos are set to host the event this weekend. The tournament is set to take place on Friday and Saturday in Hughey Gymnasium and the Sid Richardsonvolleyball.jpg Center. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament."
