Bemis Names Scott Ullem '89 VP of Finance

scott ullem.jpgOctober 30, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. — Scott B. Ullem, a 1989 graduate of DePauw University, has been elected vice president of finance of Bemis Company, Inc. (NYSE: BMS), the company's board of directors announced today. Ullem joined Bemis earlier this month from Bank of America, where he was co-head of diversified industries in the company's global corporate & investment banking division.

"Scott has extensive investment banking experience at Bank of America and Goldman Sachs," says Henry Theisen, president and chief executive officer of Bemis. "His business analysis experience and expertise in corporate finance will be valuable additions to our management team. We look forward to his contributions."

Bemis-logo.jpgUllem worked at Bank of America from 2005 to 2008.Previously, he spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs in New York and Chicago. After graduating from DePauw, Ullem earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a former adjunct professor of finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
