Supplemental Conference Fund
Purpose: A separate fund exists for professional meetings sponsored by the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA), PKAL, CUR and Midwest Faculty Seminars. Support is available on a first-come first-served basis for faculty members. The application process for these funds varies and interested faculty members are required to:
Contact the Dean of Faculty if you are interested in a specific program.
Reimbursement will normally be made for mileage at $.42 per mile, meal per diem ($46 day), and registration fees.
Submit receipts directly to Becky Wallace (firstname.lastname@example.org) immediately following conference participation.
If you discover at the last minute that you cannot attend a meeting, notify Becky Wallace so your registration can be canceled, thus preventing the University from being billed.
Eligibility: All teaching faculty members are eligible. For details see "Faculty Categories and Eligibility for Funding."
Reporting Process: Receipts for expenses and a completed accounting reimbursement voucher worksheet must be submitted to Becky Wallace within four weeks of returning from the conference for reimbursement.
