Ensuring Campus Awareness and Compliance
The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act (CSCPA) is a federal law designed to enhance community safety by requiring the tracking of convicted sex offenders who are enrolled at or employed by institutions of higher education. The intent of the CSCPA is to extend the protection offered by state sex offender registries and Megan’s Law to college campuses.
In compliance with this law, DePauw University provides information to the campus community on how to access law enforcement resources related to registered sex and violent offenders.
