403(B) Retirement Plans
DePauw University Welfare Benefit Plans
The following Welfare Benefit Plans wrap around and incorporate all of the welfare benefit programs available to active employees, under age 65 retirees, and post-65 retirees. The purpose of the plans are twofold:
- Fill in the gaps of incorporated benefit programs, including ERISA rights language, COBRA language, and appropriate terms of eligibility for employees, spouses, dependents and domestic partners.
- Ensure consistency in defined terms that apply across all plans.
The Retiree Welfare Benefit Plan wraps around and incorporates the VEBA, the fully-insured health care trust, and the Medicare secondary policy.
The Welfare Benefit Plan wraps around and incorporates all of the welfare benefit programs available to active employees, as well as the under age 65 health plan.
