Volunteer and Other Opportunities
The department of art and art history along with the galleries at peeler offer several opportunities for students to be involved and gain knowledge to help them while they are at DePauw and after.
SUBJECT TUTOR
Students can take a .5 credit Subject Tutor course, this course provides training for students who serve as department tutors. Student must tutor 3-5 weeks during the Subject Tutor course. After completing the course students can earn .25 credits for continuing as a tutor. Students interest in this should speak with the faculty member in the area that they would like to tutor students in.
Volunteer
Students interested in museum studies, collections, or the galleries can work with the gallery staff to have hands on training in these areas.
Work Study
The department of art and art history and the galleries at peeler offer several jobs for students interested in or taking art classes at DePauw. Available jobs will be posted on Handshake.
