Music Education

Megan Ankuda is a Ph.D. candidate in music education at Indiana University, with a minor in education policy. She taught elementary general and choral music for 11 years, where she became a cooperating teacher and mentor for early career teachers in New Haven, Connecticut. She recently taught in the Hartt School of Music's Summerterm, and at the Kodály Music Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.

Megan’s paper, The Problems of Quaver, was presented at the International Society for Philosophy of Music Education in Oslo, Norway, and her dissertation is a landscape study of Elementary General Music.
