SCAC Champion T-Shirts Now on Sale

March 5, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - Fans of DePauw University basketball now have a new way to display their Tiger Pride. Both the men's and women's teams won SCAC championships and are in the sectionals or "sweet 16" of the NCAA Division III basketball tournaments (click here for more information). The men's basketball team is now offering a commemorative t-shirt, pictured above, which reads "SCAC 2001-2002 Men's Basketball Conference Champions."

The shirts, which are $10 each, are available through the DePauw Athletic Department at (765) 658-6313 or via e-mail by clicking here.

Tickets for the sectional games in Ohio are also available through the athletic department.

In an open letter to faculty and staff, head basketball coaches Kris Huffman and Bill Fenlon wrote, "let us thank all that came out this weekend to support the Tigers in the NCAA tournament. It was a great day for DePauw basketball, as both teams were victorious, and a great day for DePauw, with big crowds for both games." Go Tigers!
