Support & Training

Faculty Instructional Technology Support (FITS)

Faculty Instructional Technology Support (FITS) provides pedagogical support for faculty members to enhance their teaching and their students learning through the latest technology.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Center

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Center coordinates GIS-related activities, workshops, and seminars for faculty, students, and staff.

HelpDesk

The HelpDesk provides technical support services to students, faculty, and staff. 

Student Laptops, Support and Repairs

The Student Laptop Program ensures all students are equipped with the tools needed to support their learning experience. Information about finding help for laptop questions or repairs is available at Laptop Support.

IT Training

We provide IT Training workshops, LinkedIn Learning Online Courses, and one-on-one support for campus members, covering a variety of software and technology tools. 

Web Services

Our partner the Web Services Office develops authoring tools, customized training, and individualized support for campus Web authors. They also create custom solutions for campus Web needs and maintain university Web servers and Web-based resources.

Digital Signage

Our partners in Communications and Marketing provide support for campus-wide digital signage.

Email Distribution Lists

DePauw provides several email distribution lists for groups of students, faculty, and staff. Many of these are generated daily from the Registrar and Human Resources databases, others are managed manually by individual offices, programs, or project teams.

ID OneCard Services

The DePauw ID card is used for swipe-in access to many buildings, meal plan purchases, library checkouts, admittance to campus activities and sporting events, access to the Wellness Center, and many other campus activities/functions.

Media (A/V) Services

User Services provides audio and video support for campus events, manages audiovisual components of technology classrooms, and offers checkout, delivery, and setup of several types of audiovisual equipment for students, faculty members, and staff members.

Printing Services

Our partner Printing Services offers specialized production services for a wide variety of print-related media, including digital printing and copying, bindery and finishing services, and wide-format printing.

Facilities

Tenzer Technology Center & Visualization lab

The Tenzer Technology Center, located in the Percy Julian Science and Mathematics Center during the Roy O. West Library renovation, offers workshops and a high-tech visualization laboratory where students can sharpen their technology skills in areas such as spatial analysis, data visualization, 3D printing, and other digital media.

Audio Recording Studio

The Audio Recording Studio in the Green Center for the Performing Arts Center provides recording, mastering, and archival services for School of Music performances and provides unique learning opportunities for students interested in exploring the recording arts.

Music Instructional Technology Center (MITC)

The Music Instructional Technology Center (MITC) in the Green Center for the Performing Arts features a specialized lab classroom with tools for digital music synthesis, audio production, and score editing.

Technology-Enhanced Labs & Classrooms

Technology-Enhanced Labs & Classrooms in every academic building provide computing spaces for meeting as a class, small group collaboration, or working individually on class assignments.
